Convergence on Value Chain Enhancement for Rural Growth and Empowerment (Project ConVERGE)

The DEPARTMENT OF AGRARIAN REFORM (DAR) is implementing the Project Converge on Value Chain Enhancement for Rural Growth and Empowerment (Project ConVERGE), to help increase the productivity and generate income to reduce poverty of about 38, 000 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries in eleven (11) Agrarian Reform Communities (ARC) Clusters in Region IX, X and CARAGA through value-chain agribusiness infrastructure and institutional development support. The project will be implemented from 2015 to 2021with funding support from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). DAR will implement the Project in partnership with Local Government Units (LGUs), other National Government Agencies (NGAs), Academic Institutions (AIs), National Government Organizations (NGOs), and private service providers. The Central Project Management Office (CPMO) will be based in Cagayan de Oro City and Butuan City.
