NV farmers receive land titles, support services from DAR

The Department of Agrarian Reform Nueva Vizcaya (DARPO NV) recently distributed Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs), covering a total land area of 68.58 hectares to qualified agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Nueva Vizcaya.

Farm equipment, tools, and farm inputs were also given to agrarian reform beneficiaries’ organizations (ARBOs) during the ceremony held at the Malabing Valley Cooperative Hall, Barangay Bagahabag, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

Fredelino A. Dela Cruz, a farmer-beneficiary from Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya received three hectares; 13 farmer-beneficiaries in Kasibu town shared 28.5 hectares; six beneficiaries in Dupax town, 16.57 hectares; four beneficiaries from Bambang, 8.7 hectares; and seven beneficiaries from Bayombong, 5.14 hectares.

OIC-PARPO II Cherry N. Magno handed over farm equipment, tools and farm inputs to representatives of recipient farmers’ organization.

Kadasa ARBs and Farmer’s Cooperative, represented by Tonny Bemmon and Perlita de Guzman of Nagbitin, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya, received high powered and air-cooled rice reaper, worth P123,600, and P70,125-worth of farm inputs.

Wangal Golden Farmers MPC of Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya received two power tillers and two rotary harvesters while Tubungan, Women’s Association for Rural Development Incorporated of Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya received two shredders, five backpack sprayers, nine rolls of plastic shelter and 77 net rolls for chicken breeding.

Magno urged them to make their newly awarded farm lots productive and take good care of their common service facilities.
