Two tractors turned-over in Abra

 BANGUED, Abra – Two 4WD-35HP tractors was turned-over to two agrarian reform  beneficiaries organizations  in this province   on June 19 qnd 20, 2019, under the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project of the Department of Agrarian Reform.

            The first recipient was the  Raniag Pakiling Integrated and Development Association in Pantoc, Pakiling, Bucay, while the second was the Mudiit ARB Multipurpose Cooperative in Mudiit, Dolores, both in  Abra. 

            During the turn-over ceremony, Muldiit Barangay Captain Lourdes Jacqueline B. Baac said, ”arapaap la idi, ngem tatta adda ditan, makitkita tayon. Agyamyamanak la unay ti servicio nga impaay yo kadagiti kabarangayak. Sapay koma ta agtultuloy”.( Before, this is just a dream. Now, it’s there, we can see physically. I’m so thankful for the services you gave to my barrio mates. I hope this will continue.)

            Atty. Penelope B. De Ausen, the OIC PARPO responded that this is a government project through  the DAR. She stressed that  the coop members play the biggest role. She also  advised them to  manage their coop well and ensure its life.

 In addition, PARCCOM Chairman Efren Perlas,  challenged the members saying, “ ti panagdur-as adda kenyatayo nga tattao. Sapay koma ta daytoy nga naited ket isu ti pangrugian yo. Ti bumangon adda kenya yo met lang, gapuen ta addaan tay amin ti pigsa ken nannama”. ( Development lies in us, the people. I hope that this equipment will give you a good start, as we all have the strength and the hope to   rise above our situation.)

In his closing remarks, Mudiit Barangay Chairman Fernando A. Ballacillo expressed his gratitude to the DAR for the support they have been contiuously extending. He added, “agtultuloy koma ti napintas nga relasyon tayo tapno bumangon ti coop mi. Saan yo paglamiisen ti suporta yo”.( I hope our good relationship  and your warm support will continue).

He later  told his co-members that there is no hardships nor difficulties if there is cooperation and  teambuilding among them.
