The Department of Agrarian Reform in the Cordillera Administrative Region underwent a change in leadership following the turn-over ceremony in Supreme Hotel, Baguio City, on January 18, 2016.
DAR Region I Director IV Homer P. Tobias assumed the directorship of the DAR-CAR in a concurrent capacity while former Regional Director Paramon Furigay returned to his former position as Director III of DAR Region II.
Atty. Resty C. Osias, the Assistant Regional Director previously assigned in Region II, replaced Robert B. Ampaguey who served as Director III. Dr. Ampaguey regained his position as Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer in DAR-Benguet while Deogracias Almora who was detailed in the province, would also go back to Apayao Province, his previous place of assignment.
For the rest of the provinces in the region, the Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officers are: Virgilio I Acuña, PARPO for Abra, Artemio Domaoang for Ifugao, Edaño G. Canao for Kalinga, and Jude A. Gawogawen for Mt. Province.
The Regional Adjudication Board is headed by Atty. Marivic Casabar while Atty. Omar D. Ibra, Al Haj, heads the Provincial Adjudication Board in Abra. For the other provinces, Atty. Doris R. Briones is the Provincial Agrarian Reform Adjudicator. (Leticia D. Laoagan)
