Barobo, Surigao del Sur – The P49.6-million road construction and bridge projects here that will help agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in transporting their farm products easily have been completed.
Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR-13) Regional Director Julita A. Ragandang last Friday turned over the documents of the completed seven-kilometer road project and 36.8-meter flatslab bridge to Surigao del Sur Gov. Johnny T. Pimentel and Barobo Mayor Felixberto Urbiztondo. Funded under the DAR-Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Project Phase 3, the NRJ Dughan-Javier farm-to-market road (FMR) and flatslab bridge projects will benefit 834 ARBs and thousand other residents in barangays Dughan, San Jose and Javier, all of this town. Gov. Pimentel lauded the DAR for its efforts and challenged the farmers to take good care of the project. On the other hand, Director Ragandang thanked the LGUs, both provincial and municipal, for their support. (Mike U. Crismundo)
