He said the AIM-C is a facility constructed under the Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project (ARISP) in 2007 to help promote and market farmers’ products like coffee, coco sugar, ginger and turmeric tea, cocoa powder and tablea, etc.

Regional Director Julita Ragandang said aside from the concrete building, the facility has an office, a library, a conference, a training hall, a warehouse and a solar dryer.

“Primarily, the AIM-C was established to develop agrarian reform communities (ARCs) here by via training and seminars. We will also provide them with continuous education to improve their earning capabilities through proper product marketing,” Ragandang said.

The Secretary and his officials were here for the ARBs’ Congress, a two-day event that gathered more than 400 ARBs in Caraga to hear Mariano talk about his thrusts and priorities. It was also a venue where the DAR distributed economic benefits, loan credits, launched a project and distributed certificates of land ownership awards (CLOAs) to ARBs.
