MbulletinSurigao City – An estimated 10,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) are expected to benefit from the infrastructure projects in Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, and Agusan del Norte by 2015. The anti-poverty alleviation infrastructure projects cost a total of P232, 986, 394. The projects consist of farm-to-market roads and bridges, irrigation development, potable water system and construction of post-harvest facilities.“Contractors of all these ongoing projects are aiming to complete their construction activities on the first quarter of next year,” said Region Xlll Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Regional Director Faisar A. Mambuay. He added that these ongoing Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project Phase lll (ARISP lll) projects of DAR are also being assisted by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation.
