Special Order No. 429 series of 2008 Designating Regional and Provincial Women's Desk Officers. Special Order No. 483 series of 2008 was issued providing the schedules of the designated Women's Desk Officers in managing the DAR Women's Center.
A Memorandum of Agreement between DAR and the Philippine National Police was duly signed by Secretary Nasser C. Pangandaman and Dir. Gen. Avelino I. Razon, Jr. on June 16, 2008 at DAR Oval Grounds.The MOA outlines the responsibilities of each agency, among which, is for the PNP to provide technical expertise in training our Women's Desk Officers and provide DAR a highly-trained female PNP personnel to assist our Desk Officers. On the other hand, DAR shall provide the logistical requirement on the full operationalization of the Women's Desks.
A Skills training for the Central and Regional Women's Desk Officers (S.O. 418 series of 2008) was conducted where the PNP provided a pool of Resource Persons free of charge, pursuant to the said MOA. The training was held at Binalonan, Pangasinan in June 17-20, 2008.

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has conducted a simultaneous launching of the DAR Women's Desks nationawide on June 16, 2008. The Women's Desks will cater to DAR women employees, women agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) including their children and other women household members.
