DAR Isabela conducts Enhancing Office Productivity through Microsoft Office for MAROs
Computerization has been one of the key words of developed and advanced companies, firms and organizations. Computers have revolutionized the way people work and the way offices operate. Computers increase productivity both for individuals and organizations because they are fast, more accurate, can process huge amount of information, eliminate boredom and it is inexpensive since it requires less number of human resources to do bulk job.
With the advent of technology, of computer age and to go along with it, one has to be computer literate. That is why PARO Ronald B. De La Rosa came out with the idea of conducting an enhancement course on computer literacy for Municipal Agrarian Reform Officers of this province to boost their performance level. It is the first and only province in Region 02 to conduct such training being the biggest province in the region.
On September 8,9 and 15, 33 MAROs had their hands on training using individually the newly acquired units of notebook computers at DAR Provincial Office. By this, they will enhance their learning and facilitate complete understanding of the operation of the computer. Having passed the standard of the Office on computer literacy, MAROs are assured to have a notebook computer.
Computer literate staff of the BDCD facilitated this training. Expectedly, the MAROs should have acquired basic skills on computer operations so that back to their offices, their databases on FO Files should have been inputted/encoded and cleansed.
PARO de la Rosa have told them that the issuance of a notebook computer is very important as this will be used during their regular Mancom meetings in the Provincial Office.
