Isabela holds ARCDP2 Project - End Assessment and Sustainability Planning Workshop
If there are things that are endeared most between and among the Local Government Units covered by the Second Agrarian Reform Communities Development is the camaraderie development before and during the implementation of the projects although there were many experiences and memories good and bad.
With the experiences, people involved in the project learned and most perfectly implemented the projects with great pride and honor as they have made thousands of farmers achieved a better life.
The ARCDP2 has come to an end and DAR-PO Isabela invited, probably not the last, members of the Local Project office from the 16 municipalities covered by ARCDP2 for a project-end assessment and Sustainability Planning Workshop in Punta Amelita Resort, Cordon, Isabela on June 25-26, 2009.
In this activity, each municipality reported for their accomplishments from Infrastructures, AED, and CDCB and at the same time, had their planning workshop on how to sustain the projects especially the infrastructure projects and the trainings cum materials provided to the farmers.
There is one municipal mayor who never really fail to come and attend an assessment to support his Project Local Office staff and this is Hon. Edward Juan of Quirino, Isabela who really gave a nice impression for the ARCDP2 project and expected with optimism that if ever there will be a phase 3 project, his municipality will be covered again.
Some local Project Officer of different municipalities salute the ARCDP2-World Bank and gave their parting messages by thanking not only DAR, ARCDP2-WB but everyone who in one way or the other who have contributed to the successes of the implementation of the project, the people, the farmers, the capitalist . . . but, they say that though the project ends, it is just the of a greater responsibility, a responsibility on how to sustain and make things better if not for the best.
The ARCDP2 Provincial Office also awarded all the municipalities and ARCs a plaque of recognition for their outstanding performance and efficient implementation of the project in their respective area of coverage.
