Agrarian Reform Undersecretary for Finance, Planning and Administrative Office (FPAO) Felix Perry A. Villanueva urged all bureaus and regional directors and other officials of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) to work closely and enhance the delivery of services.
Villanueva issued the instruction during the five-day workshop on ‘Result-Based Performance Management for DAR Third Level Officials conducted recently at the Green Leaf Hotel in General Santos City in Sarangani Province.
“We must work closely and make sure that we complement each other,” Villanueva said.
“The bottom line is to put down what budget we have and see how we can work together with that budget by determining our common areas and the kind of interventions we can deliver,” he added.
“We must be aligned with the guiding principles of the government’s platform strategy on public expenditure management and public financial management that we should spend within means, on the right priorities and value for money,” he further said.
The five-day workshop aims to thresh out issues and concerns related to general administration that impede the field operational unit from delivering these outputs; Identify actionable points to address the identified problems, needs, issues and concerns (PINCs) and to enhance the delivery of services of the support to operations (STO) group; and Map out the Finance, Planning and Administration Office (FPAO’s) Indicative Calendar of Events for 2015 to serve as guide for the third level officials to effectively manage their tasks, staff, resources and connections.
