Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer Grace Fua said the P38.13-million worth of farm-to-market road was improved. JThe 5.97-kilometer road connects the following barangays Progreso, Cambaol, Cayacay, and Napo to the town proper.

“This road was crumbling and hardly passable that’s why we construct a concrete pavement on critical sections, a 10.2 linear meters reinforced concrete box culvert and a 21 linear meters reinforced concrete deck girder bridge for the safety of the travelers, particularly the farmers, who transport their agricultural goods,” Fua said.
The DAR also turned-over the P32.21-million Cayacay Communal Irrigation Project covering 80 hectares of agricultural lands to help the farmers increase their produce.
