Agrarian Legal Services (ALS) chief Atty. Rexinor John D. Demogena said the legal clinic seeks to reach out to agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs), landowners and other stakeholders and shed light on various agrarian-related problems, issues and concerns free of charge.

Demogena said it would be “a venue to bring DAR services closer to the people - ARBs, landowners, and other CARP stakeholders.” They could directly consult or seek legal advice regarding agrarian related problems, issues or concerns, he added.
“The legal staff will personally entertain various clients coming from nearby municipalities in the area.  The staff of the Land Tenure Services (LTS) and the Technical Advisory and Support Services (TASS), will also be around to address legal queries and concerns relative to operational matters and support services being undertaken by DAR,” Demogena said.

The legal clinics will be conducted in five key areas:

May 7, 2015    - Janiuay, Iloilo (West Visayas State University, Janiuay Campus)
May 14, 2015  - Passi City, Iloilo (St. William Jubilee Hall, Poblacion)
May 21, 2015  - Ajuy, Iloilo (Covered Gym, Poblacion)
            May 28, 2015  - Estancia, Iloilo (Pa-on Beach Club)
June 4, 2015   - Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo (Poblacion)
