Nine new four-wheeled tractors would be distributed to nine agrarian reform beneficiaries organizations (ARBOs) that are engaged unto sugarblock farming in Central Visayas, the Department of Agrarian Reform said Monday.
Regional Director Alejandro S. Otacan said eight of the 120-horse powered farm equipment would go to Negros Oriental and one to an ARBO in Bogo City, Cebu.
Otacan said a two-day CSF training/orientation and actual demonstration for tractor’ operators was conducted and attended by the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) of RAMPUCO (Ramrod Multi-Purpose Cooperative) in Canlaon City, MAFACCO (Masulog Farmers Community Cooperative) in Canlaon City, SPFWMPC (Sycip Plantation Farm Workers Multi-Purpose Cooperative) in Manjuyod, KASFARBECO (Katacgahan Small Farmer Beneficiaries Cooperative) in Bais City, SUFARMPUCO (Samac United Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative) in Mabinay, SJARBC (San Julio Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative) in Tanjay, LARBEMCO (Lapay Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multi-purpose Cooperative) in Bayawan, all in the province of Negros Oriental , and the ANARBA (Anonang Norte Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association) in Bogo City, Cebu.
