DAR to distribute P3M worth of common service facilities to ARBOs

WEB 01ARBOCSF.jpg2The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) is set to turn over P3-million worth of common service facilities (CSF) to selected agrarian reform beneficiaries organization (ARBO) in the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga del Sur.

Regional Director Felix b. Aguhob said the CSFs include 15 hand tractors,four (4) corn shellers, and one (1) floating tiller.

“The CSFs will be distributed to A.L Micubo Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association (ALMARBAS), S. Cabral Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association (SCARBAS) and the Guinles Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GUIFAMUCO,” Aguhob said. WEB 02ARBOCSF.jpg2The farm equipments are being provided to ARBOs under Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services (ARCCESS) being implemented by DAR.
Aguhob said through ARCCESS, the DAR would introduce new farming technology to the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) to develop their farmer organizations and ultimately increase their farm yield.

“The new farming machines are expected to boost the economic conditions of ARBs because it will greatly improve their farm productions. The CSFs will also make farming easier for them,” Aguhob said.

Also present during the delivery and initial turn-over of CSFs from the supplier to DAR were Assistant Regional Director Ramon E. Madronal Jr., Regional Inspectorate Team Raul M. Flores and Isabel Lopez and Provincial Inspectorate Team Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer Rizzel B. Villanueva, Samuel Andrew A. Baliton and Iluminada D. Aradji.
