Ka Paeng joins workshop in PARC execom’s strategic planning conference

SANTOS CITY (Nov. 24, 2016)—Agrarian Reform Secretary Rafael ‘Ka Paeng’ Mariano (in green checkered shirt) checking the work of one workshop group during the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council Executive Committee (PARC Execom) to craft strategic plans and set targets for 2017-2022.

Mariano who is also the PARC Execom Chairman, said the workshop seeks to come up with a list of priorities and recommendations on land acquisition and distribution, rural development and agrarian justice.

Ka Paeng said outputs from the workshop groups would be integrated today.

“Us in the PARC executive committee will meet again to synthesize and fine-tune the medium-term plan before finally presenting it to the President in the next PARC meeting in January next year,” Mariano said. 

The three-day PARC Execom planning workshop is being held at the Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City from Nov. 22 to 24, 2016.
