The infrastructure projects were implemented under the Bottom-Up Budgeting (BUB) as part of the government’s effort to pursue a sustained and inclusive growth and at the same time, promote good governance at the local level.  BUB which is now called the Grassroots Participatory Budgeting (GPB), is a reform measure that aims to make the national budget a participatory process wherein the citizens are involved in identifying projects that they believe will be beneficial for their own communities particularly in terms of poverty reduction.

The Infra Projects were undertaken in support of the national objective of the government for development in the rural areas.

In attendance during the formal turnover and acceptance of the projects which was held at the San Remegio Municipal Hall were Honorable Mayor Mariano R. Martinez, Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer Jenette Oporto, Engr. Armand Gerra, and some local officials.
