DAR turns over road project in Camarines Sur

pic1aug4The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) recently turned over P6.4-million worth of farm-to-market road in the municipality of Ocampo in Camarines Sur to boost the agricultural products of farmers in the community of San Roque Commonal in the said province.

DAR Camarines Sur-A Provincial Head Leonito M. Gaveria said the one-kilometer Old Moriones- San Roque Commonal farm-to-market road would provide the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) easier access to nearby markets and trading centers.

The infrastructure project was implemented under the Agrarian Reform Communities Project II (ARCPII) funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with counterpart from the local government of Ocampo.

The turn-over ceremony of the project was attended by Ocampo Mayor Corazon Olos, Vice Mayor Pepito Ponce, Municipal Councilor Noel Soriano, Barangay Captain Vilma P. Olarte and other barangay and DAR officials. pic2aug4
