DAR, Ambaguio town ink pact on P1.1M road repair project

piaBAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, January 15 (PIA) – A road rehabilitation project in Ambaguio town is set to be started this year.

Mayor Arnold Dinungon said that the  local government unit of Ambaguio has already signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) for the rehabilitation of a  Farm to Market Road (FMR) worth more than P1.1 million.

The project measures 225 linear meters, covering  the improvement of Poblacion-Ammoweng-Nappo FMR.

“This will help much our farmers in transporting their products at ease and with a short period of time to the market not to mention its big impact in the promotion of our tourism potentials,” Dinungon said.

Under the MOA, the DAR will pour in P 1 million of the total cost while the LGU of Ambaguio will provide P112,000.00  and other incidental expenses of the project. ALM/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
