Four State Universities and Colleges signed contract with the Department of Agrarian Reform Region 02 as chosen partner academic institutions of DAR in providing market-oriented agri-technology and agri-extension services to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries under the Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services (ARCCESS) projects.
Through competitive bidding, Cagayan State University in Carig was awarded the project for Cagayan province; Isabela State University in Echague for Isabela; Batanes State College in Basco for Batanes; and Quirino State University in Diffunfor Quirinocircuit Nueva Vizcaya.
DAR Regional Director Marjorie P. Ayson signs contract with the SUCs Presidents Dr. Romeo S. Quilang (CSU), Dr.Aleth M. Mamauag (ISU), Dr.Djovi R. Durante (BSC) and Dr. Samuel O. Benigno (QSU) welcoming partnership for the project.
Under the contract, the SUCs will provide professional and technical support to the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) in managing their agri-business enterprise. The agri-extension service is a project component of ARCCESS.
