DAR Bataan officers and personnel headed by PARO Engr. Eric San Luis and DTI personnel led by Regional Director Judith Angeles and Provincial Director Ms Nelin Cabahug recently visited Balanga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (BARB) Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC) in upland Barangay Tuyo for their assistance.

DAR launched the Village Level Processing Center Enhancement Project (VLPCEP) under which BARB MPC will be granted a P300,000 worth building.

The DTI under its program Shared Service Facilities (SSF) granted vegetable-based processing equipment to the cooperative amounting to P207,800.

Cindy Jaime, DTI Bataan Specialist said equipment given included deep fryer sealer, heavy-duty dough mixer, stainless working table, and noodle maker machine.

“The joining together of government agencies is always good for beneficiaries”, noted Paro San Luis. For her part, Cabahug urges members of BARB MPC to take advantage of the opportunity and maximize the use of the equipment given to them.
