Convergence of DAR stakeholders

DAR Secretary John R. Castriciones instructed the conduct of the summit as a participatory process and serves as a consultation mechanism for all stakeholders of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) to discuss the continuing and emerging issues, concerns, inputs, and recommendations.

The gathering also aims to make the agrarian reform program of the government fully responsive to the beneficiaries.

news reg 1 pix 3 jan. 26 2018Major concerns discussed in the two-day activity include land tenure security; policy-related issues on agrarian reform; agrarian justice delivery, land conversion, exclusion, and exemptions; food security and sustainable livelihood; resiliency and climate change; delivery of support services and basic social services; and agrarian reform and federalism.

The two-day summit will end today, January 26.
