PARO urges coops to adopt ‘lofty’ vision

gitnang luzonABUCAY, Bataan – Provincial Agrarian reform Officer Engr. Eric San Luis has urged agrarian reform cooperatives to come out with a “lofty” vision.

“Dapat malaki ang vision”, he challenged the officers of cooperatives who attended the Strategic Planning training conducted by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Bataan last week.

“Tignan nyo ang vision nyo. Gagawa kayo ng vision wag kayong kuripot, maganda yung malaki,” he further urged coop officials.

San Luis shared that in the Strategic Planning they had with the provincial government led by Gov. Albert Garcia, they came out with a “lofty” vision of transforming Bataan into Asia’s industrial hub.
“That is a ‘lofty’ vision for Bataan,” he told coop officials.

San Luis personally saw the DAR Bataan’s conduct of training on Strategic Planning to the second batch of agrarian reform cooperatives held at Villa Amanda Resort, this town.

The Strategic Planning is the 5th training the DAR Bataan has provided to agrarian reform cooperatives in the province.

San Luis said they have already conducted trainings on Basic Coop Course, Coop Governance Management, Financial Management, and Leadership Values Information to agrarian reform cooperatives in the province last year.

Under his leadership, DAR Bataan became the only DAR entity in the country accredited by the Cooperative Development Authority to facilitate trainings for cooperatives.• Butch Gunio
