DAR-MIMAROPA Cascades Issuances And Orders To Staff

news regional pix 1 nov. 12 2015The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) conducted a series of seminars on Cascading of DAR Issuances and Other Pertinent Executive and Administrative Orders to its staff in the regional and provincial offices in Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan (MIMAROPA).

Regional Director Erlinda Pearl Armada said the seminars’ objective is “to refresh and re-educate our staff on the pertinent issuances and orders in conducting agrarian reform matters.”

“Through these seminars, our staff was able to clarify agrarian issues and concerns that they encounter when implementing land reform processes,” added Armada

During the seminars, resource speakers from other DAR offices shared their experiences and gave tips on resolving problematic landholdings. 

The resource speakers from the DAR were PARPOs Joselito Nathaniel Diaz of Oriental Mindoro, Romeo L. Reyes of Rizal Province, James Arsenio Ponce of Batangas, James Arthur Dubongco of Cavite, Director Gloria Fabia and Undersecretary Augusto Quijano  of the DAR Central Office.

Guest speakers from partner CARP-line agencies were Department Manager Ramilito Basbacio and Chief of Field Investigation Division Clarito Maminta of the Landbank of the Philippines-Agrarian Operations Center IV Laguna and Engr. Alexander Jacob of DENR-IV-A.news regional pix 2 nov. 12 2015  

The seminars were attended by Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officers (MARPOs), Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officers (CARPOs) for Operations, claim folders processors, Senior Agrarian Reform Program Technologists (SARPTs) and Agrarian Reform Program Technologists (ARPTs) from the regional and provincial offices.

The three-day seminar series was held during the second and third quarters of 2015 at the Ace Hotels and Suites, Pasig City and in Sunlight Hotel, Palawan.  The activity was a collaborative effort initiated by the DAR and Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as the main facilitator of the seminars.
