Engineer Felix Aguhob, DAR regional director, said the CSFs consisting of nine-unit tractors will be distributed to the Arbos in the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur.
Four of the nine units tractors will be distributed to four Arbos in Zamboanga del Norte, and the remaining five will be for Zamboanga del Sur.
Mohammad Dassan Adju, Zamboanga del Norte provincial agrarian reform officer, said the distribution of the CSFs is in line with DAR's mandate to increase the productivity of every agrarian reform beneficiary.
"With the aid of the farming facilities provided by DAR, it will surely make an impact to the lives of the farmer beneficiaries," Adju added.
Aguhob said the farm equipment is being provided to Arbos under the Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services (Arccess).
Through Arccess, Aguhob said, DAR will introduce new farming technology to the farmer beneficiaries to develop their organizations and ultimately increase their yield.
The Arbo recipients were identified through series of processes conducted by DAR, he added.
