Albay Farmers Now Covered by Crop Insurance Program

Six agrarian reform beneficiary organizations (ARBOs) were trained as program underwriters in connection with the partnership of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) to provide Crop Insurance Program for agrarian reform farmers in the province of Albay.
 
 
A total of P 6,105,464.00 program fund were accessed covering 233 hectares of rice farms benefiting 227 agrarian reform farmers in the province.
