DAR NegOcc-South gets farm facilities for ARB organizations

sunstarTHE Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Negros Occidental-South recently received a new batch of Common Service Facilities (CSF) for agrarian reform beneficiaries organizations (Arbos) in the south part of the province.


Under the Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services (Arccess) Project, the DAR central office has delivered equipment and machineries, including nine units of rice thresher, three units of 120 horsepower tractor with implements such as disc harrow, trailer and disc plow, and 18 units of shredding machine.

DAR Negros Occidental-South said that in order to assure its quality, machineries and tools were already subjected to inspection conducted by a team composed of members coming from DAR central, regional, and provincial offices.

The Arccess Project is a support service delivery mechanism of the DAR created to contribute to the increase of farm productivity, improve household income, and provide sustainable livelihood to farmer-beneficiaries, it added.
