The Department of Agrarian Reform under its Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services Project received common service facilities for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations in South Negros, a DAR press release said yesterday.
The equipment and machineries include nine rice threshers, three 120 HP tractors with implements such as disc harrow, trailer and disc plow and 18 shredding machines, the press release said.
On September 10 the inspectorate team from the DAR Central Office, DAR Regional Office and DAR Provincial Office Negros Occidental II conducted an inspection of the machineries and tools to assure their quality.
The ARCCESS Project is a support service delivery mechanism of the DAR, created to contribute to the increase of farm productivity, improve household income, and provide sustainable livelihood for ARBs, it added.*
