Teresita Mabunay, Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer for northern Negros Occidental, said yesterday that the installed ARBs will initially occupy 29 hectares left vacant by the owner-corporation, which are portions of the total 105 hectares offered for CARP coverage through the voluntary offer to sell scheme.

She said the ARBs are members of the Mirasol Development Corp. Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association and the Andres Bonifacio Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries.
Mabunay added that the DAR, Department of Agriculture and Land Bank of the Philippines has allotted a P4 million credit line for MDCARBA, where P500,000 will be used to finance the cultivation of the land they received.

Victoria Delgado, Jasmin Castillo and Hannah Jubay, and Barangay Andres Bonifacio officials Carlos Marata and Rolly Jaena and Sagay City police commander, Chief Insp.
