visayan daily

Despite the calls of some groups not to extend the Comprehensive agrarian reform program beyond June of this year, the Department of Agrarian Reform will distribute six tractors all valued at P18.6 million to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations in two towns and two cities of Negros Occidental this month.

Edna Villaruel, Agrarian Reform officer 2, told the DAILY STAR yesterday that the fuel drive 120-horse power tractors, with cost estimated at P3.1 million each, will be distributed through the National Arces Program Coordinating Office-Support Services office of DAR.

Villaruel said the distribution of the tractors is part of the Agrarian reform Program month celebration.
