DAR Distributes Land Titles To 41 Farmer-Beneficiaries In Cebu

news reg pix 1 jan. 22 2016The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) recently distributed Emancipation Patents (EP) to 41 farmer-beneficiaries in Pinamungajan town in Cebu.

OIC Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO I) Sherwin Tubog said the 11.97-hectare landholdings, formerly owned by Flora Dayrit is situated in Barangay Camugao, Pinamungajan, Cebu. It was distributed under DAR’s  operation land transfer.

Tubog advised farmer-beneficiaries to take care of their newly acquired farmlots and make them more productive as ever, as well as to honor their obligations by paying their regular amortizations and real estate tax.news reg pix 2 jan.22 2016

The other public servants who accompanied Tubog in the awarding ceremony include Balamban Mayor Ace Stefan Binghay, Visayas Deputy Ombudsman Paul Elmer Clemente, Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer (MARPO) Gerysval Vestal and MARPO Nestor Castro.

During the activity, the DAR provided service tables to walk-in clients to address their concerns on land titling program and support services delivery.
