CEBU CITY—Regional Director Alejandro S. Otacan presided the turn over rites for one Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) and one Provincial Agrarian Reform Adjudicator (PARAD) in Golden Valley Hotel on January 29, 2016.
At the turn-over ceremony, newly designated PARPO Elvira Bation accepted the symbolic key of responsibility from outgoing PARPO Dr. Antonio A. Del Socorro.
Otacan said Bation will take over as PARPO of DAR-Cebu while Del Socorro is now assigned as the Assistant Regional Director (ARD) of Region 18, the newly created region composed of the Islands of Negros.
“In a concurrent capacity Del Socorro will continue to serve as our ARD for DAR-Cebu,” explained Otacan.
In the same occasion, newly PARAD Atty. Nieli B. Resma accepted the symbolic key of responsibility from Regional Agrarian Reform Adjudicator (RARAD) Atty. Rosalio T. Kintanar of DAR Regional Office 7.
“RARAD Kintanar is now handling Department of Agrarian Reform Adjudication Board (DARAB) Region 6, 7 and DARAB Bohol, while PARAD Resma is now handling DARAB Negros Oriental, Siquijor and Cebu,” said Otacan.
The ceremony was witnessed by RARAD Atty. Rosalio T. Kintanar, PARAD Atty. Nieli B. Resma, PARPO Varinia Fabillar, PARPO Sherwin Tubog and DAR-Cebu employees. (Rosanna Gay S. Visitacion)
