DAR personnel acquainted on gov’t frontline services

news reg 1 pix 1 oct. 26 2016The DAR-Central Visayas re-oriented its frontline service personnel on the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) and the Mamayan Muna Program (MMP) to refresh and update them of their tasks in delivering excellent service to DAR clienteles.   

Regional Director Alejandro S. Otacan said the orientation seeks to enhance the frontline service personnel’s knowledge on customer service “so that they would ably handle giving professional and quality service assistance to our clients.”   

Regional Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Andrea Paciana S. Labra explained the salient points of ARTA, the Civil Service Commission ‘s “Bilis Aksyon” and the Mamayan Muna Program to 20 frontline service personnel of the Public Assistance and Complaints Coordinating Unit (PACCU) of DAR Region 7.

Regional Chief Administrative Officer Atty. Rosalio T. Kintanar gave inputs on the department‘s thrusts and policy directions. He also explained the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees of RA 6713.  

“I emphasized to the participants that as public servants, it is their duty to serve our clients with integrity, transparency and accountability,” Kintanar said.

The DAR’s clienteles include farmers, landowners, farmer-groups, non-government organizations and the general public.
