DAR-7 holds re-orientation on ARTA, MMP for frontline service staff

piaCEBU CITY, October 29 (PIA) --The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR-7) recently held a re-orientation of Public Assistance and Complaints Desk (PACD) Officers on Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) and Mamamayan Muna Program (MMP) for DAR-7 frontline service personnel.

Around 20 frontline service personnel of the Public Assistance and Complaints Coordinating Unit (PACCU) of DAR-7 attended the seminar to understand their roles in providing excellent service to DAR customer. Dr. Andrea Paciana S. Labra, Regional Chief Administrative Officer,  discussed the topics which included the 10 things you should know about  ARTA, the Civil Service Commission ‘s “BilisAksyon” and MamayanMuna Program that will enhance the knowledge and skills of DAR frontline personnel and  to develop customer-oriented service.

Regional Agrarian Reform Adjudicator Atty. Rosalio T. Kintanar gave inputs on  DAR ‘s  Thrust and Policy Directions, and Code of Conduct and Ethical standards for Public Officials and Employees of RA 6713,  emphasized on the duties of a public servant to deliver effectively public service with  integrity, transparency and accountability .

DAR-7 Regional Director Alejandro Otacan gave importance to hold the re-orientation seminar for the frontline service personnel for them to learn how to handle the situation with their knowledge on basic customer service for public service excellence. (rmn/hfg/PIA-7)
