Gender and development (GAD) facilitator James Arsenio Ponce said the training greatly helped the GFPS members in comprehending the concepts and benefits of genders analysis. “This training capacitated the members in arming them with tools and approaches in applying gender responsiveness in the department,” said Ponce.

Ponce taught the GFPS members the salient features of the Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines which include application of gender analysis tools, analysis and its benefits, its approaches and data gathering.

The training was attended by 44 members of the GFPS from the DAR offices in Cebu, Bohol and Siquijor held at the Coco Palm Resort Danao City, Cebu on July 26-28, 2017.
