DARAB Bohol Conducts Assessment and Catch-Up Planning

news reg 2 pix 1 aug 17 2017The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) recently conducted a three-day 1st Semester Assessment of Accomplishment and Catch-Up Strategic Planning in Bohol. 

Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer Grace B. Fua said  the Assessment of Accomplishment and Catch-Up Strategic Planning was an opportunity to raise issues and concerns with solutions from proper authorities.

Fua welcomed the participants while Provincial Agrarian Reform Adjudicator (PARAD) Atty. Nellie S. Canillas of DARAB Bohol gave the rationale of the said activity. 

PARAD Canillas said the joint activity which  was participated by the DAR Division Chiefs, Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officers, Legal and DARAB Bohol staff  aims to assess the performance of the DARAB and the Agrarian Legal Service (ALS) Division during the first semester of 2017 and to ensure the attainment of the target for the year.news reg 2 pix 2 aug 17 2017

Apart from the assessment the following issues were also discussed to facilitate DARAB’s accomplishment which includes the ten directives of  Secretary Rafael V. Mariano as pronounced in the State of the Agrarian Address (SOAR) and discussed by  Regional Agrarian Reform Adjudicator (RARAD) of Region VI and VII Atty. Rosalio T. Kintanar.

Board Member DARAB Central Office Atty. Jim Coleto on the other hand discussed the Rules on Agrarian Law Implementation (ALI) Cases and Latest Jurisprudence, Rules on Cancellation of CLOAs and Eps and latest jurisprudence on DARAB Rules and Procedures.

Alejandro both from DARAB Central Office; Legal Case Monitoring System (LCMS) by Ms. Sheila T. David, LCMS National Point Person and the Discussion on the New Directives on Land Tenure Security by DAR Assistant Director Engr. Joey G. Sumatra of the Bureau of Land Tenure Improvement.

PARPO Fua and PARAD Canillas graced the distributions of certificates to the participants and the giving of Certificates of Appreciation to the resource persons. (Ma. Lydia D. Bantugan).
