DAR-10 Holds Turnover Rites Of Regional Directors

Thus, said newly assigned Regional Director for DAR-Northern Mindanao (DAR-10) Faisar A.  Mambuay, as he reached out his hands to his new staff for the kind of support that they accorded to his predecessor, Felix Aguhob.

“Give me time to study, Ishna’Allah, God willing, I am confident that in due time, all of us will work together as a team” he said in his speech shortly after the turnover ceremony.

Witnessing the occasion were RD Julita A. Ragandang, the newly assigned Regional Director of Caraga, Asst. Regional Directors of DAR-10 namely ARD Eliasem P. Castillo and ARD Teresita T. Depeñoso,  PARPOs, MARPOs, other personnel of DAR-9, 10 and Caraga, and some personnel from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).  

“I was very comfortable in Caraga.  I have made a lot of friends, established rapport with the stakeholders. But there are still a lot of things that need to be done.  However, change is accepted with great challenges,” Mambuay said.  

He explained in his message that as a good follower, he wholeheartedly accepted his new assignment. He had served as Regional Director of Caraga for five years.

Out-going Regional Director Aguhob compared his working life in DAR-10 to a basketball game that needs team effort.  He said that in a basketball team, each member must have a role.

“I acted as a coach and a chief servant.  So, I am very thankful to Caraga and in DAR-10, because you really helped me.  I cannot achieve all these things without your help with a happy heart,” he said.  

Aguhob has worked in the DAR for almost 32 years. He served as Regional Director in DAR-10 for six years, after spending seven years in DAR-Caraga in the same capacity. (DMBacayan/ERSalvador)
