DAR namahagi ng lupa sa Bukidnon farmers

pilipinostarMANILA, Philippines - Umabot sa 309 certificates of land ownership award (CLOA) ang ipinamahagi ng Department of Agrarian Reform sa 189 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) ng Bukidnon.

Sinabi ni Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Julio Celestiano Jr.  na kaakibat nang pagkakakuha ng lupa ay ang hamon sa mga magsasaka na masugpo ang kagutuman sa bansa.

“These ARBs will play significant role in eradicating hunger and in reducing poverty in the countryside,” wika ni Celestiano.

Dagdag niya na kailangang dumami ang ani ng bansa upang matiyak na hindi kukulangin ang supply.

Isinagawa ang pamamagagi ng CLOA kasabay ang isang-buwang Kaamulan Festival.

Nasa 2,034.18 hektarya ng lupa ang ipinamahagi sa mga magsasaka ng lungsod ng Malaybalay.
