DAR XII Ranked 1st in Land Distribution
The Department of Agrarian Reform SOCCKSARGEN Regional Office (DAR XII) was acknowledged for its successful land distribution for two consecutive years now.
In 2011, DAR XII distributed 97.44% of the 33,612 target hectares for the year 2011 or 32,752.85 hectares to 13,994 agrarian reform beneficiaries coming from four provinces namely; North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, and Sarangani.
DAR XII proved once more that they have the highest land transfer accomplishments and even exceeded their performance in 2011 and 2012’s annual regional target. In the first quarter of 2012, DAR Asst. Secretary for Field Operations, Jose Z. Grageda wrote in a letter to all DAR regional directors quoting “One region alone contributed close to three-fourths (73%) of the first quarter accomplishments. This is Region XII, which also delivered the highest volume in 2011.”
In 2012, DAR XII has an accomplishment of 42,675 hectares which equates to 35% of the nationwide LAD excelling among 15 other regional DAR offices. Moreover, the four provincial offices of SOCCKSARGEN are also the top 4 provinces nationwide in LAD. DAR XII and its four provincial offices continue to excel in the implementation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) through land tenure improvement, agrarian justice, and coordinated delivery of essential support services to client-beneficiaries.
The recognition was given the during the CY 2012 National LTI PBD Year End Assessment and 2013 Planning Conference held last January 2013 in Angeles Pampanga.
Certificate of Recognition awarded to DAR XII for its outstanding accomplishment in LAD in 2012.
