In celebration of women's month, the ladies of PENRO (Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office) of Sorsogon emparted their knowledge and skills of making a look-like-genuine-jewel by using old magazines, brochures and wrappers to the DAR Ladies Association in Sorsogon.
Boxes of "katol" (mosquito killer coil) were cut into strips, rolled to form a color blue beads, and strung to produce elegant necklace, bracelets, earrings and rosaries that you will never think those were only papers.
