BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Feb. 21 (PIA) - The Department of Agrarian Reform(DAR) is expected to turn-over tire path projects in Kayapa town.
Dindi Tan, Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer said the concreted tire paths are the Monggol-Aw-awa Caritas Road at barangay Pinayag and the Pallas-Nansiakan Road, all in Kayapa town.
The 625-meter Monggol Aw-awa Tire Path Project will benefit 703 villagers while the 450-meter Pallas-Nansiakan Tire Path Project with two units cross drainage will benefit close to 1,000 villagers.
"These projects were funded through the Bottoms-Up Budgeting now Grassroots Participatory Budgeting for 2014. We expect that our beneficiaries will take good care of these projects," Tan said.
The projects were funded with P1.1 million each by the DAR and local government unit of LGU-Kayapa.(MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
