97 computer sets to boost SPLIT project implementation in CAR

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) recently received computer sets with printers as it gears up to go full blast with the implementation of the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) project.

DAR-CAR is expected to distribute individual electronic land titles (e-titles) to the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in the area as part of SPLIT.

In a statement, DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III said that with the new computer sets, SPLIT officers are expected to work more efficiently and complete their tasks at a faster pace.

“The logistics support is in line with the marching order of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to expedite the distribution of land titles to the ARBs,” he said.

The SPLIT project intends to fast-track land subdivisions of Collective Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CCLOAs) and eventually issue individual land titles to the ARBs who were previously awarded lands and collective CLOAs under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program.

The DAR-CAR has received a total of 97 computer sets complete with a monitor, central processing unit (CPU), uninterruptible power supply (UPS), mouse, mouse pad, keyboard, and printer.

The DAR central office personnel delivered the items to the regional office to ensure the excellent quality condition of the computer sets.

All the six DAR-CAR provincial offices which include Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province received 14 sets each, while the regional office received 13 sets.
