Grateful farmer

CARMEN, Bohol-- Seventy-nine-year-old farmer Florentino Lomod from Pilar, Bohol, was overwhelmed with joy after receiving his long-awaited certificate of land ownership award (CLOA) from Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary John Castriciones in a distribution ceremony held here. In return, he gave Secretary Castriciones his very own ‘salakot’ as a token of his gratefulness and gratitude.

The Secretary led the distribution of CLOAs to 419 agrarian reform beneficiaries covering 475 hectares of agricultural lands located in Tagbilaran, Carmen, Jagna, Talibon and Ubay in the province of Bohol.
