DAR Davao de Oro Kicks Off Component 2 of ARBold Move

On to the last leg for component 2 of The PaSSOver: ARBold Move for Deliverance of ARBs from the COVID 19 Pandemic, the Provincial ARBold Task Force delivered food packs to the 29 qualified agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in the Municipality of Laak, Davao de Oro, which is approximately more than 100 kilometers away from the capital town of Nabunturan.

Richel Manalo, a resident of Poblacion, Laak, expressed her gratitude towards the Department of Agrarian Reform  for extending help. “Dako kaayo akong pagpasalamat sa taga DAR ga nakadawat mi sa mga grasya nga ilang gihatag kanamo”, she exclaimed.

The same day also marked the roll out for the distribution of farm productivity input packages which each beneficiary will receive the following: 10-in-1 assorted vegetable seedlings, pesticide, as well as complete and organic fertilizers. A total of forty-two (42) qualified ARBs will receive these packages as a starter kit for crop production.

DAR Davao de Oro is set to distribute 461 of these bundles to ARBs in all eleven (11) municipalities of Davao de Oro. This series of activities under the "ARBold Move to Fight COVID19" program of the DAR, which is in line with the government's "Bayanihan To Heal As One". (PIO-Davao de Oro)
