795 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Oriental Mindoro have benefitted from the Department's “PaSSOver: ARBold Move for Deliverance of our Farmers from the CoViD-19 Pandemic” project providing supplemental food and non-food assistance.

"One of the major components of the said project is to provide safe food necessary to maintain the good health of beneficiaries’ families such as vitamins and hygiene kit - and that is what our personnel being the frontliners have done", as emphasized by Lima A. Turano, the OIC-Chief of Program Beneficiaries Development.

"We make sure that our personnel follow strict compliance to health protocols while distributing the relief packs particularly the wearing of face masks and protective shield, frequent hand washing, sanitation, and social distancing.", Turano added.

OIC-Chief Turano stressed that the qualified recipients of the relief packs are those who are not served by social amelioration/food packs assistance programs of other agencies. "Our field personnel ensures that we reached those families who are really in need in this time of crisis".
