Project Funding Proposal Meeting

Covid 19 temporarily put on hold projects and other activities in the region, but, it did not last long. As soon as enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Region I was lifted, projects and activities slowly are put in place given the protocols needed so as not to jeopardize the health of all.

 One project is the Support for the Parcelization of Land for Individual Titling (SPLIT). With RD Homer P. Tobias heading region 1, the SPLIT Committee started to work again.

 On June 23, 2020 at the Conference Room of DARRO 1, San Fernando City, La Union,  a meeting was conducted in preparation for the for the project funding proposal for SPLIT with the LTS Point Persons of the four (4) DARPOs and Legal Division staff of DARPO Pangasinan. The proposed matrix of activities and the corresponding funding were presented, discussed and agreed upon.  There are four (4) major activities to be undertaken 1) validation of the status of Collective CLOAs, 2) resolution of cases if there will be legal impediment, 3) procurement of survey services and 4) redocumentation/registration of individual titles. The DARPOs were asked to submit their final data on the actual number of landholdings, ARBs and the areas to be covered.
