DAR Region 1 Buckles Down to Do SPLIT

The members of Provincial Project Management Office/s attending the Virtual Project SPLIT Meeting on Janaury 25, 2021.

The Support to the Parcelization of Lands to Individual Titles (SPLIT) goes on full gear in Region 1.  As one of the 3 pilot regions for SPLIT implementation, DAR Region 1 is conducting series of activities on a region wide basis to ensure that the mandated target will be delivered for the year.

Virtual DAR-DENR IVAS Meeting on February 9, 2021.

For the Calendar Year 2021, Region 1 shall cover 13, 535 hectares with the Approved Survey Plans (ASP) already.  This target was firmed up during the Virtual SPLIT Meeting of the members of the Regional and Provincial Project Management Offices (RPMO and PPMOs) facilitated by the CARPO for FOD, Nenita C. Madriaga on January 25, 2021. The concerns about approval and verification of surveys are also being addressed with the conduct of DAR-DENR Inspection, Verification and Approval of Survey (IVAS) Monthly Meeting that commenced for the year on February 9, 2021.

DENR, together with LRA, ROD and NCIP shall play an important role for DAR to implement SPLIT.  In the region, strengthening coordination and linkaging with these government agencies are being sustained to help fast track the processing of CLOAs for distribution to identified and qualified Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).

Hard press for time lines but the RPPMO and PPMOs are committed to deliver the target. As always, DAR Region 1 will continue to work as a TEAM for SPLIT Project implementation and CARP implementation as a whole.
