TACLOBAN CITY—Agrarian Reform Secretary Brother John Castriciones is scheduled to distribute certificates of land ownership award (CLOAs) and farm machineries in Southern Leyte on July 28 and 29.

DAR-Eastern Visayas Regional Director Ismael Aya-ay said the Secretary will distribute 575 CLOAs to the same number of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) from different parts of Southern Leyte.

He said that Brother John will also hand over land titles to farmers’ homes via the agency’s Serbisyong DAR-to-Door distribution scheme.

“The Secretary will personally hand over the CLOAs to farmer-beneficiaries, mostly aging, if not ailing farmers, who have long been waiting to receive the CLOA from the DAR, before proceeding to a designated venue for the ceremonial CLOA distribution,” Aya-ay said.

Aya-ay also disclosed that the Secretary will likewise turnover during his visit various farm machineries to selected agrarian reform beneficiaries’ organizations (ARBOs) as support assistance extended by the agency under the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Development and Sustainability Program (ARBDSP).

Brother John has been to the region twice already this year to distribute CLOAs and turnover packages of support services to help improve the quality of life in rural areas as envisioned by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).

TACLOBAN CITY—Nakatakdang magpamahagi ng mga certificates of land ownership award o mga CLOA (titulo ng lupa) at mga makinaryang pangsaka si Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Brother John Castriciones sa mga magsasaka ng Southern Leyte sa Hulyo 28 at 29.

Ayon kay DAR-Eastern Visayas Regional Director Ismael Aya-ay, pangungunahan ni Brother John ang pamamahagi ng 575 CLOA sa 575 ding mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) mula sa iba`t ibang bahagi ng Southern Leyte.

Maghahatid din si Brother John ng mga titulo ng lupa sa mga tahanan ng mga magsasaka sa pamamagitan ng Serbisyong DAR-to-Door scheme ng ahensya.

"Personal na iaabot ng Kalihim ang mga CLOA sa mga magsasakang-benepisyaryo na ang karamihan ay mga matatanda na, at ang iba naman ay mga may sakit na. Ito ay kanyang gagawin bago siya tumuloy sa itinalagang lugar kung saan gaganapin ang CLOA distribution,” ani Aya-ay.

Isiniwalat din ni Aya-ay na sa pagbisita ng Kalihim siya ay magbibigay din ng mga makinaryang pangsaka sa mga agrarian reform beneficiaries’ organisations (ARBOs) bilang suportang serbisyo sa ilalim ng Agrarian Reform beneficiaries Development and Sustainability Program (ARBDSP) ng ahensya.

Ikalawang beses na sa taong ito ang pagbisita ni Brother John sa rehiyon upang magpamahagi ng mga CLOA at magkaloob ng mga suportang serbisyo upang mapabuti at maitaas ang kalidad ng buhay ng mga magsasaka bilang layunin ng Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).
