DAR holds mini-trade fair

In celebration of the Women’s Month 2022, the Department of Agrarian Reform Province of Ilocos Sur holds mini trade fair at the office building grounds on March 14 – 15, 2022, to showcase the best products coming from the different micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) developed through the Village Level Farm-focused Enterprise (VLFED), particularly those that have acquired the FDA License to Operate. 

Likewise produce from the Farm Business School, and from the newly introduced project in the province, Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) areas were showcased to promote their produce.

Ten agrarian reform beneficiary organizations (ARBOs) participated in the said activity, namely: Macati Rang-ay Farmers Agrarian Reform Cooperative (Sukang Iloko and Balicucha); Candon City Coconut Farmers Agrarian Reform Cooperative (Nata de Coco and Coconut Strings); Metro Nambaran Agrarian Reform Cooperative (Squach Canton Noodles); Ayusan Norte Pantay ARC’s MPC (Vigan Longganiza); Metro Luba Coconut Farmers MPC (Peanut Butter and By-products); Tagudin Samahan ng Magkakalamansi Producers Cooperative (Calamansi Juice); Solid East Agrarian Reform Cooperative (Tamarind Candy);Arnap Sunrise ARC MPC (Rice Cookies); and vegetables from Lidlidda Agrarian Reform Cooperative and Sunggiam MPC.
