DAR Bulacan distributed E-Titles under Project SPLIT

The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office of Bulacan distributed individual computerized titles, June 10, to thirteen (13) agrarian reform beneficiaries of whom 4 are women under Project SPLIT with a total area of seventeen (17) hectares, more or less. Farm lots located in Cluster 2 comprising the Municipalities of San Rafael and San Ildefonso were awarded to previous owners of collective CLOAs.

Rosario De Guzman and brother Joselito Jimenez, representatives of the deceased CLOA awardee Belen Vda. De Jimenez, received eight (8) individual CLOA titles with an area of 3.2380 hectares in Barangay Pasong Bangkal, San Rafael town.

“Ito pong pagbibigay sa amin ng indibidwal na CLOA ay isang napakagandang pagkakataon sa aming magkakapatid dahil ngayon ay kaarawan ng aming yumaong ina.  Noong nai-surender ko ang original na collective CLOA ay Death Anniversary naman niya.  Kaya po itong pagkakataon ay tunay na nakakaiyak at nakakatuwa kasi talagang hindi kami pinabayaan ng aming ina at ng DAR.  Maraming salamat talaga sa Department of Agrarian Reform.”

The distribution was headed by CARPO Isabel Azurin of the Land Tenure Services Division together with OIC-MARPO Perlita Quito of Cluster II, Project SPLIT Team and PARCCOM Representatives Narciso Hipolito, Michael Dela Merced and Servillano “Amang” Cruz under the leadership of Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer (PARPO) II Geraldine Yumul with PARPO I Marie Louie  Cabantac.

CARPO Azurin said that the theme "Tuloy ang Pag-Asa at Pag-Unlad Hatid ng Repormang Agraryo," connotes that provision of support services shall continue even after the distribution of titles to farmer beneficiaries to help alleviate the life of poor Filipino farmers.  She encouraged the farmer beneficiaries to make the land more productive and avail all programs of the Department.
